Being a total beach girl originally from Santa Cruz, CA, I definitely feel like I have a niche and an ultimate favorite – beach session photos! I recently spent some time in Australia where I had the opportunity to capture 3 amazing couples photoshoots. Since I’m from California and have a deep love for the ocean, I love capturing sessions that have a bright and joyful feel. Peter & Fiona

Peter and Fiona were dissatisfied with their wedding photos, so they chose to recreate their couples photos in Byron Bay, which is their favorite location! During the session and spending the day with them, I saw Peter and Fiona speak in all 5 love languages. It was so inspiring! I loved being able to capture their love that really poured through into the session. Not only were Peter and Fiona the best, but so was the location. We loved being able to head to hill tops and have a stunning ocean backdrop and get to run through the sand together. We even went into the water together!! The playfulness was front and center and I loved every moment.

 

Benny & Keziah

Benny is from Germany and he met Keziah while he was backpacking in Australia – how sweet. One of my favorite parts from this session is that their love completely shines through the lens. They are incredibly fun and full of laughter, which you can see in their photos! We had such a blast rolling around in the sand dunes and laughed so much together – it was the perfect day. Their energy was truly infectious and I loved being a part of this special moment – capturing their undying love and creating forever memories!

Grace & Obed

Grace and Obed wanted to do a couples session together and just have fun in front of the camera! The result was a gallery filled with joy, laughter, and a genuine representation of their connection. Since they are both introverted in nature, this session was a great opportunity for them to get more comfortable in front of the camera before their wedding day. And, I think we did just that. By the end of the session they were completely beaming and their personalities were front and center. It was truly an honor spending the day with them!
