This is my specialty! I photograph receptions and post-wedding parties like I photograph a show for a musician — adjusting for all types of lighting and documenting the captivating atmosphere. This is one of my happy places.
Can you work with natural and artificial lighting?
I’m inspired by love languages, and no, you don’t need a cocktail to enjoy taking photos with my approach! It’s a choreography of conversation, getting to know you, and using prompts if needed to warm you up. Knowing what connects you as a couple ultimately inspires a thoughtful and free-flowing feel that makes you look like a pro and just like yourself.
What is your approach to posing?
Of course! I’ll discuss my lighting preferences and portrait timing with you or your planner, in addition to providing timeline feedback and creating a photography-specific timeline for my end. I offer years of expertise that will make it all effortless.
Do you have any advice when it comes to the flow or timing?
Yes! Having worked across countless destinations from coast to coast, I have a treasure trove of vendors to recommend who will go above and beyond.
Do you have vendor recommendations for us?
While my roots are on the coast in Santa Cruz, California, my home base between volunteer work and weddings is the Lake Tahoe Basin, with regular travel to New Jersey.

You could say it’s a mix of in-the-moment documentary photographs and stylishly editorial imagery. This thrives when it comes to telling heartfelt stories in fast-moving environments. Put simply, I balance authenticity with a creative vision.
